Malvern East resident and local superbike racer Peter de la Rey recently travelled to Cape Town for the next leg of the South African National Drag Racing Championships.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur racing this season has involved a lot of travel to away tracks with our main track, Tarlton, not hosting any national championship events this year because of escalating costs,\u201d said de la Rey.<\/p>
De la Rey, who is currently competing in the Superbike Class on a BMW S1000RR, sponsored by Bavarian Motorcycles, has celebrated a great start to the season.<\/p>\n
