Simon Bekker Road is becoming a nightmare for motorists.<\/p>\n
As a result of some sort of spillage on the road, three accidents of which the GCN is aware, have occurred at one of the bends in the road.<\/p>
The GCN was contacted by Alta Potgieter who explained how her vehicle had slipped on the road as she went around the bend.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere appears to be a jelly-like substance on the road and after my car slipped, I lost control of it and it rolled,\u201d she said.<\/p>
Potgieter\u2019s car was a write-off and she does not have insurance.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am now left without a vehicle and have no way of getting to work,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI also hurt my shoulder and back in the accident and I was also getting headaches.\u201d<\/p>\n
She will be claiming from the metro.<\/p>\n
Potgieter added that the metro needs to do something about the road as a matter of urgency as more accidents are going to happen.<\/p>\n
