class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>That\u2019s exactly what we can achieve with the South African National Blood Service\u2019s (SANBS) brand-new Calendar for Good app, which is available for download.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUsers of our app will receive a \u2018push\u2019 notification every morning with a suggestion on how to make a world of difference to someone else\u2019s day,\u201d said Silungile Mlambo, national marketing manager for the SANBS.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t have to take much effort, nor does it even have to cost anything, because the true value of any good deed is the thoughtfulness and the care behind it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we\u2019re talking about simple gestures such as complimenting someone, surprising someone with a chocolate, sharing snacks at work, inviting someone to exercise with you, or suggestions for making the world a better place, the SANBS Calendar for Good will also encourage people to donate blood \u2013 another simple act of kindness, but one that actually saves lives \u2013 and notify users of SANBS activities in which they can participate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach unit of blood donated can save three people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What better deed can there possibly be, than giving others \u2013 complete strangers \u2013 the gift of life?\u201d said Mlambo.<\/p>\n<p>The SANBS Calendar for Good is downloadable for free from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.<\/p>\n<p>Simply search for Calendar for Good, and you\u2019ll find it in no time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe more of us who do good deeds, the better our world will be \u2013 and, of course, we
