The driver of a white Freightliner articulated motor vehicle (truck) transporting frozen food, lost control and overturned at 3am on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n
The incident happened on the M2 West highway, near the Geldenhuys interchange.<\/p>
The male driver, in his 40s, was taken to the Bertha Gxowa Hospital for medical treatment, due to the slight injuries sustained in the accident.<\/p>\n
The flow of traffic was heavily affected until the salvage of the vehicle was completed at 9:50am.<\/p>
The EMPD Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating the cause of the accident.<\/p>\n
