preparation for the new season which kicks off in October.

“The senior season starts in the first week of October and this year we intend on entering not only two Saturday League teams but two Sunday League sides as well.

“Of course this depends on player interest,” explained GCCC chairman David Ungerer.

This is why the club is calling on all interested parties to come and join them for what promises to be another fun-filled season.

Germiston will play their home matches at the Germiston City Sports Grounds in Vimy Ridge Road, in Delville, and will practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

In addition to the senior side, the club also hopes to have a team compete in the junior season which will also kick off in October.

“Once again this dream is subject to community interest,” said Ungerer.

Germiston will cater to u-8, u-10, u-12, u-13 and u-17s with practices held at the club’s home grounds on Mondays and
