Nine people were injured this morning when a taxi and bakkie collided, causing the taxi to roll multiple times on Rand Airport Road in Germiston.<\/p>\n
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene at approximately 6.45am after receiving reports of numerous patients on the scene.<\/p>
\u201cOn arrival, paramedics found the taxi on the pavement while the bakkie had come to a stop on the opposite side of the road,\u201d said Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson.<\/p>\n
\u201cParamedics assessed the patients and found that a total of nine had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.<\/p>
\u201cThe patients were treated for their injuries on scene and transported to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n
The details surrounding the collision are not yet known, but local authorities were on the scene to conduct further investigations.<\/p>\n
