{"id":153014,"date":"2017-06-08T10:43:13","date_gmt":"2017-06-08T08:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/?p=153014"},"modified":"2017-06-08T11:01:32","modified_gmt":"2017-06-08T09:01:32","slug":"moroccan-inspired-chicken-lemon-olives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/lifestyle-news\/2017\/06\/08\/moroccan-inspired-chicken-lemon-olives\/","title":{"rendered":"Moroccan inspired chicken with lemon and olives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 chicken, cut into pieces<\/li>\n<li>2 onions, chopped<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves garlic, crushed<\/li>\n<li>1 bunch fresh coriander, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped<\/li>\n<li>juice of 1 lemon<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd \u00a0tsp ground ginger<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp paprika<\/li>\n<li>200g green olives, destoned<\/li>\n<li>salt and\u00a0pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbls olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large saucepan, saut\u00e9 the onion in olive oil for about 5 minutes. Add the chicken pieces and brown.<\/li>\n<li>After 10 minutes add the garlic, half the coriander, half the parsley, salt and pepper. Stir and let the flavours combine.
