In the months that followed, the hole was used by residents to dump and burn rubbish, with Draper himself almost falling into it.<\/p>\n
The hole had become of great concern to residents because they were worried that the dumping and burning of rubbish would cause damage to the water valve or mean that repairs would not be able to carried out in the area.<\/p>
