Management of O R Tambo International Airport is aware of the strike by cabin crew of SAA from today and is closely monitoring the situation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are in close contact with the airline to ensure that we are prepared for all eventualities arising from the strike,\u201d said Leigh Gunkel-Keuler, senior manager corporate affairs, O R Tambo International Airport.<\/p>
O R Tambo International Airport hopes for minimal disruption to airport operations and that the relevant parties can resolve the situation effectively as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, the airport has contingency plans in place and we hope for minimal disruption in order to ensure business continuity,\u201d said Gunkel-Keuler.<\/p>
Passengers are advised to stay in contact with the airline for updates on the status of flights and bookings.<\/p>\n
