Health and well-being were put in the spotlight at Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Elderly, recently, with an interactive health morning.<\/p>\n

The morning saw both Ackermans Pharmacy and Gauteng Cornea Eye Bank representatives visiting the centre to talk to the members about their health and the importance of regular check-ups.<\/p>

Care workers and sisters from Ackermans Pharmacy checked members\u2019 blood pressure and blood sugar, and administered flu injections, ahead of winter.<\/p>\n

The event was ended with a presentation by the Gauteng Cornea Eye Bank, explaining how organ donations work and the importance of organ donation.<\/p>
