{"id":148619,"date":"2017-04-06T07:10:50","date_gmt":"2017-04-06T05:10:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/?p=148619"},"modified":"2017-04-06T08:15:11","modified_gmt":"2017-04-06T06:15:11","slug":"new-water-meters-will-provide-better-billing-says-metro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2017\/04\/06\/new-water-meters-will-provide-better-billing-says-metro\/","title":{"rendered":"New water meters will provide better billing says metro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To ensure water consumers are billed correctly and the loss of non-revenue water is reduced, the metro is continuing with its R16-million project to replace 10 000 water meters that have exceeded their lifespan.<\/p>\n<p>Non-revenue water (NRW) is water which is pumped into the metro\u2019s water supply network, from Rand Water, but is subsequently &#8216;lost&#8217;
