{"id":148400,"date":"2017-04-03T14:15:00","date_gmt":"2017-04-03T12:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/148400\/breaking-news-two-in-hospital-following-cash-in-transit-heist-in-germiston\/"},"modified":"2017-04-03T15:56:30","modified_gmt":"2017-04-03T13:56:30","slug":"breaking-news-two-in-hospital-following-cash-in-transit-heist-in-germiston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/develop.citizen.co.za\/germiston-city-news\/news-headlines\/2017\/04\/03\/breaking-news-two-in-hospital-following-cash-in-transit-heist-in-germiston\/","title":{"rendered":"Breaking News: Two in hospital following cash-in-transit heist in Germiston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two people were shot during a cash-in-transit heist on the corner of Spilsbury and Meyer streets, in Germiston, on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwo armed suspects, driving a Toyota Rav 4, approached one of the cash-in-transit security guards,\u201d said Capt George Raphulu, head of communications for the Germiston SAPS.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cOne of the suspects pointed a gun at the security guards and took a bag of money from them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Raphulu said the suspects fired a number of shots, which injured two bystanders, before fleeing the scene.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cOne person was shot in the leg and the other in the chest.
