Xolani Mnyiphika, an employee at the metro\u2019s parks department, raised his concerns about the park in Primrose.<\/p>\n
Mnyiphika said he is not happy about the condition of the park found on Main Road.<\/p>
\u201cWe are employed to cut grass at various parks, with the Fishers\u2019 Hill park being one of them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am just saddened by the condition we find the park in every time we come for the regular cutting and maintenance.<\/p>
\u201cOn countless occasions we have come across bottles, glass, plastic and other rubbish, which makes it very difficult for us to cut the grass.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mnyiphika said they also find tree branches lying around at the park.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have also noted that people cut tree branches and we don\u2019t know why they do that or what they use them for,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI appeal to all Primrose residents and users of the park to take care of the park in order for everyone to enjoy its benefits.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are dustbins at the park; please use them.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis message is not only for Primrose residents but to everyone. Please keep our parks clean.\u201d<\/p>\n
