Pedestrians have to watch their step when walking on the pavement in Beaconsfield Avenue, in Primrose.<\/p>\n

This is because there is a huge hole surrounding the manhole found in front of Beacon House.<\/p>

Residents told the GCN that the hole began to form more than three weeks ago as the result of a water leak.<\/p>\n

Though the metro repaired the leak the hole and rubble was left behind.<\/p>

\u201cWe were told that another team would have to come and fill in the hole,\u201d said one resident.<\/p>\n

Another concern for the residents is that when it rains sewage is able to escape from the hole and leak onto the pavement.<\/p>\n

The GCN sent a query to the metro to find out why the repairs had not been finished and when they would be completed.<\/p>\n

At the time of going to press no comment had been received from the metro.<\/p>\n
