This year’s fifth annual Team Hope SA Christmas party was bigger and better than ever.

The team has hosted the party each year for the charity homes they currently support.

A massive number of guests from Rekopane Inclusive Development Centre, Remme-Los and Dolphin House, Manger Care Centre, Parker Harriers, Ithembelihle Lsen School, as well as a number of private homes in the area attended the fun-filled event, which was held at Ithembelihle Lsen School, in Primrose East, last Saturday.

The children were treated to lots of fun activities and there was no shortage of food, gifts or love, with the Team Hope volunteers catering to the children’s every need.

To end off the meal guests were treated to a slice of delicious cake.

The team and children weren’t worried about the gloomy clouds overhead as they were once again prepared for the weather, with a large, festively decorated marquee set up on the school’s field.

Guests entered the marquee through a fairy-light lit tunnel filled with fun characters and friendly faces.

The team thanked their sponsors: New Beginnings Christian Family Church, ABS Beverage and Snacks, Rubin’s Motor Trimmers, ASA Steeltech, the staff of FedEx, Nike SA, Lego SA, Amah-Jo, R&R Hire, Ashwood Logistics, South Continent Logistics, Funky Edibles, Life Community Church, Recycling & Packaging Made Easy, Glenvale Hyper, Kershin and Syrina Ramsien, Ithembelihle Lsen School, Razmatazz, Midas Vanderbiljpark, Halewood, Bobby Ramsuran, Triangle brakes, Kia, Elite Costume Hire, Peniel Project Services, Bay City Bakery, KET Projects – Kershen Subramunian, Dwayne Reuben from Netcare Parklane Hospital, Kenneth Tam from Clean Heat Solar, Stemtec SA, and many more, including private sponsors, too many to mention.
