launches Taxi Day to kick-start transport month programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The metro will embark on a drive to visit taxi ranks across the Ekurhuleni as part of the Transport Month programme.<\/p>\n<p>The drive will commence tomorrow (October 14).<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Ekurhuleni\u2019s Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Roads and Transport Clr Petrus Mabunda will visit the Germiston Taxi Rank during the early morning rush to give a status update on the city\u2019s Bus Rapid System (BRT) Harambee project to commuters, taxi drivers and owners.<\/p>\n<p>Mabunda and his delegation will later proceed to the Alberton Taxi Rank in the afternoon to engage with the taxi rank community of Alberton.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The drive commences tomorrow at 6.30am at the Germiston Taxi Rank and proceeds to the
