The Primrose police recently arrested a 38-year-old man for theft.<\/p>\n

The arrest was made after the complainant opened a case at the Primrose Police Station.<\/p>

He told police that he had been out of the country from July 13 to August 8, during which time he left his brother in charge of his shop.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is alleged that the accused and his brother threatened the complainant\u2019s brother, chased customers away from the shop and then took equipment and goods from the store.<\/p>

<\/div>\n

\u201cThey said that they were doing it because the complainant owed them money for rent,\u201d said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.<\/p>\n

The suspect was traced and arrested.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are appealing to the community not to take the law into their own hands;, they must follow the right procedures when dealing with conflicts,\u201d Maome said.<\/p>\n

The man has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.<\/p>\n
