The Life Roseacres Hospital, in Primrose, joined in the celebration on Thursday.<\/p>\n
The hospital organised a special presentation for its nurses, with messages from the management.<\/p>
Sophie Sibisi, nursing manager, headed the event, reading the messages from the Life Health Group\u2019s management.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are lucky to have so many great nurses,\u201d said Sibisi.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe could not do anything we do without our amazing nursing staff.<\/p>\n
\u201cEnjoy the day because it is your day.\u201d<\/p>\n Hospital manager, Mathews Moavodi, thanked the attending nurses for their continuous hard work.<\/p>\n The presentation also offered an opportunity to honour one nurse in particular, who was recently recognised during the Life Health Group\u2019s Great 100 Nurses Celebration.<\/p>\n The celebration is held to honour the top 100 nurses who have made a significant difference to the profession of nursing and in the lives of patients, peers, students and the community at large.<\/p>\n Nominees are judged on professionalism, compassionate care-giving, clinical competence and leadership qualities.<\/p>\n The 100 top great nurses will be nursing ambassadors for Life Healthcare and the nursing profession at large.<\/p>\n Young Nozipho Motha was named as one of the top nurses.
