morning with Wiandri and Kevin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The GCN met Wiandri van Vuuren (16) from Primrose East when she was a finalist in the <a href=\"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/101920\/wiandri-shares-her-life-changing-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lady Gracious SA 2015 <\/a>competition.<\/p>\n<p>Though Wiandri didn\u2019t walk away with the grand prize, she did win <a href=\"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/105156\/wiandri-clinches-three-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\">Miss Personality, Miss Style and Miss Photogenic.<\/a><\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cWith each title we give the winner six months to host two events to raise funds for a charity of their choice,\u201d explained Lady Gracious SA organiser Suret Str\u00f6h.<\/p>\n<p>This meant that Wiandri would have to host six events from January to June this year.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>She had a lot of ideas heading into the challenge and began researching various charities and causes.<\/p>\n<p>However, it was a cause close to home that touched her heart and she began to arrange a morning charity concert with a performance by local singer Kevin Leo, for Saturday, May 21.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will start at 10am at Ho\u00ebrskool Goudrif in Kraft Road.<\/p>\n<p>All proceeds will be then be donated to the Olivier family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe whole family suffers from cystic fibrosis,\u201d said Wiandri.<\/p>\n<p>Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects mostly the lungs but also the pancreas, liver, kidneys, and intestine.<\/p>\n<p>The intimate morning concert, which has taken three painstaking months to plan, only has 200 tickets available and will include cake and tea.<\/p>\n<p>For more information or to book your ticket for this worthy cause call
