The second round of the Cambees Midas SA Drift Championships is set to take place at the Rock Raceway circuit in Brakpan on April 9.<\/p>\n
The drift masters will take to the track in an effort to impress the judges with their style, flair and sideways antics without losing the drift.<\/p>
Drifters from all over South Africa as well as from Mozambique are expected to make their way to the circuit to take on this round of the championships.<\/p>\n
Patrons can make their way to the circuit from 10am when the gates open and witness a whole day’s practice session before the main event begins at 4pm.<\/p>
There is an entrance fee at the gate.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, April 10, the public can take part in the Bandit Street 2 Strip Drags Sunday Night event.<\/p>\n
The gates open at 2pm and racing starts at 4pm.<\/p>\n
Bring your daily drive along and enjoy street drags in a safe environment.<\/p>\n
Sound Off fans Bass Triggers will also be on hand as they test the beat boxes of various chariots.<\/p>\n
So if you think you have what it takes to have the highest DB readings, then bring your daily drive along and enter the Sound Off competition.<\/p>\n
There will also be a Dyno Day for the petrolheads who want to test their HP output at a fee.<\/p>\n
