The Primrose police are requesting that anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of suspects involved in a Wesel Road, Sunnyridge housebreaking come forward.<\/p>\n
It is alleged that the home owner was driving in North Reef Road when he was stopped by what he believed were three EMPD officers, as they were in full uniform and driving a marked vehicle with blue lights.<\/p>
\u201cAfter telling him that his brake lights were not working, the men suddenly pulled out a firearm and demanded that he take them to his home,\u201d said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen they arrived at his home they demanded cash and assaulted him with boiling water.\u201d<\/p>
The criminals made off with the man\u2019s TV, iPad, an undisclosed amount of cash, a watch and his vehicle.<\/p>\n
The vehicle was later recovered in Alexandra.<\/p>\n
