The Elsburg SAPS were out and about recently conducting a roadblock. The roadblock was held at the intersection of Dekema and Blackreef roads, Wadeville. The idea behind the roadblock was to provide motorists with information that would aid in reducing the high rate of hijackings in the Elsburg policing area.

 • Michelle Roos, “Seriously? Handing out pamphlets to educate? Surely they should rather do something about the crime happening and not ‘educating’ people? We know what is going on regarding the crime and hijackings. What we need is for it to be stopped, not told about it.”
