It was this passport (with his second name &#8220;Rolihlahla&#8221; spelt incorrectly as &#8220;Rolilahla&#8221;) that he used to embark on a tour of some of the African states that had supported the South African liberation struggle, including Zambia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe\u00a0and Ethiopia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/albertonrecord.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2016\/02\/Mr-Mandelas-first-SA-passp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-96819\" src=\"https:\/\/albertonrecord.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2016\/02\/Mr-Mandelas-first-SA-passp.jpg\" alt=\"Mr-Mandelas-first-SA-passp\" width=\"386\" height=\"498\" \/><\/a><\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The photograph of Madiba\u2019s passport, was taken by Nadja Manghezi, who was working at the Solomon Mahlangu Freedom College in Tanzania in March 1990.
