There aren\u2019t many of us who can resist a pancake; the simplicity of a warm, light treat filled with crunchy treacle sugar and cinnamon or spread with syrup and clotted cream.<\/p>\n

This tasty treat is not just a dessert though, pancakes are also delicious served with warming, savoury filling.<\/p>

The batter made in this recipe can be stored in the fridge for a week.<\/p>\n

You will need:<\/strong><\/p>

  • 1\u00bd cups of flour (375ml)<\/li>\n
  • 2 eggs<\/li>\n
  • 600ml of milk<\/li>\n
  • pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    You will then:<\/strong>
    \nMix all the ingredients until bubbles form on the top of the mixture.<\/p>\n

    Then simply pour into a non-stick pan on medium heat.<\/p>\n

    Flip the pancake once bubbles have formed on the surface.<\/p>\n

    Serving suggestions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Cinnamon and sugar<\/li>\n
    • Syrup and whipped cream<\/li>\n
    • Bananas and whipped cream<\/li>\n
    • Nutella and strawberries<\/li>\n
    • Lemon juice and brown sugar<\/li>\n
    • Cinnamon ice cream or just plain vanilla<\/li>\n
    • Savoury mince<\/li>\n
    • Spinach and feta.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>
