It was reported that persistent high temperatures (medium to high 30s) were expected to hit the province until the end of the week, bringing with them high levels of discomfort.<\/p>\n<p>You said:<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Ann Rose, \u201cPlease ensure that your animals have sufficient shelter and plenty of water. To keep their water cool, freeze water in a plastic bottle and place in their water bowl before leaving for work. Alternatively, freeze water in their bowl and put out before leaving in the morning.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Residents furious over reservoir leak: <a href=\"http:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/107209\/residents-furious-over-reservoir-leak\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/bit.ly\/1NrMDlQ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many Germiston residents have felt the effects of the ongoing drought which, being felt nationally, has brought water shortages, water restrictions and even outages.
