clinches three titles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The winners of the Lady Gracious SA 2015 competition were announced at a glamorous gala dinner, at Summer Place in Boksburg, recently.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists dazzled in dresses sponsored by Denise Lloyd and Linda Broodruk from Exclusive Designs.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/germistoncitynews.co.za\/101920\/wiandri-shares-her-life-changing-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wiandri van Vuuren (16)<\/a> described the evening in one word: \u201cWow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything was amazing, from the decorations to the food, we all felt like royalty,\u201d she explained.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>Though Germiston\u2019s Wiandri didn\u2019t walk away with the grand prize, she did win Miss Personality, Miss Style and Miss Photogenic.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_105158\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-105158\" style=\"width: 520px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a id=\"caption-attachment-105158\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Wiandri van Vuuren shows off her three title sashes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI was very nervous at the beginning of the evening and was so surprised when I was called up for the three titles,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was voted the winner of Miss Personality by the other finalists, the Lady Gracious SA team, as well as the judges,\u201d explained Lady Gracious SA organiser Suret Str\u00f6h.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMiss Style was decided by the judges and Miss Photogenic by the event\u2019s photographers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith each title we give the winner six months to host two events to raise funds for a charity of their choice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This means that Wiandri will have to host six events from January to June next year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe, at Lady Gracious, will be on hand to help make sure the charity is real and that they need the funds,\u201d Suret said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will also set-up a Facebook page for Wiandri, where people can follow her journey, donate and get involved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though Wiandri already has a lot of ideas, she is still researching charities and causes.<\/p>\n<p>If you to fill 200 \u201cBoxes of Joy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>These boxes (for R70) will be filled with sweet treats and donated to underprivileged children on December 5.<\/p>\n<p>For more information email to Gracious team also stood up against women and children abuse at the Sisters with Blisters protest walk on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The march marks the launch of the annual 16 Days of Activism for No Violence
