Inspired by the branding legacy of the ancient Egyptian\u00a0Rosetta Stone, Rosetta\u2019s d\u00e9cor inspiration pays tribute to this famous artefact and inspires with simple, quality cooking and ingredients, combined with impeccable service.<\/p>\n<p>Rosetta\u2019s boasts a fresh interior, an increased 290 seating capacity, clean-lined contemporary finishes and a modern feel that awakens the senses.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>The restaurant is subdivided into three different spaces though the innovative use of sliding stacking Mashrabiya screens (an Arabic term given to a projecting oriel window that is enclosed with carved wood latticework), which allows for operational efficiencies.<\/p>\n<p>The outside area is a relaxed Bistro space complemented by a deli-style display area featuring a selection of freshly made artisanal breads, Paninis, cakes, an ice cream station and more.<\/p><div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\"><\/div>\n<p>For quick bites, passers-by have an opportunity to savour delicious ready-to-eat items.\u00a0 Upon entering Rosetta\u2019s, early risers and late diners are met by a\u00a024-hour Bistro\u00a0that serves an \u00e0 la carte,\u00a0quick service eating\u00a0menu with a selection of down-to-earth comfort foods. \u00a0Signature items include Philly Beefy Cheese, Peri-Peri Chicken Livers and Wood-Fired Pizzas.<\/p>\n<p>For those who need a coffee fix, the Bistro has introduced BLACKSMITH Coffee, which crafts beautiful coffee blends from certified Fairtrade farms in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda.<\/p>\n<p>The breakfast menu is served from 06h00 \u2013 11h00, an all-day menu from 11h00 \u2013 23h00 and an overnight menu from 23h00 \u2013 06h00.<\/p>\n<p>The second area is the central space, which is can be opened in 4 directions, or can be opened up completely into the main restaurant space. The buffet in the kitchen area serves a bevy of cuisines from around the world. With freshly prepared dishes and made-to-order\u00a0\u00e0\u00a0la minute\u00a0cooking stations, the menu is continually improved through promotional offers, seasonal changes and the chefs\u2019 personal choices. A welcome feature at dinnertime is \u201cbottomless soda\u201d, with selected red and white house wines on tap included in the menu price.<\/p>\n<p>The kitchen chefs prepare the majority of the dishes in front of the guests, while cohesively working to present seven distinct culinary speciality sections in the restaurant. These include a\u00a0Harvest Table\u00a0with a selection of salads, mezzes and cold starters, and the\u00a0Rotisserie, Roasts and Grill, which features mouth-watering ribs, chicken wings, beef topside with sauces and accompaniments.\u00a0 You can also tuck into the\u00a0Comfort\u00a0dish section for the venison, tripe, traditional stews and casseroles, or the\u00a0Mediterranean\u00a0Station, which features a bevy of grilled prawns, deep fried calamari and island- style seafood.<\/p>\n<p>For something a little spicier, the\u00a0Pan-Asian\u00a0station showcases mouth-watering Thai and North Indian curries, a Chinese Wok station and sushi.<\/p>\n<p>Rosetta\u2019s also has a\u00a0Kiddies Station, which includes a mini selection of hot dogs, beef burgers, pizza, cheese grillers, and macaroni and cheese. To round off the dining experience, the\u00a0Dessert Station\u00a0will see diners satisfying their sweet tooth with cheesecake, bread and butter pudding and more.<\/p>\n<p>Lunch is served from 12h00 \u2013 16h00 for R125 per person and dinner is served from 18h00 \u2013 23h00 at R175. Breakfast will be available on selected weekends and public holidays from 06h30 \u2013 10h30 at R85 per person.
