There is no load shedding anticipated today as the system is currently stable.<\/p>\n

Only two\u00a0hours and 20 minutes of load shedding has been implemented in the past 43 days<\/p>

Exports from the Cahora Bassa power station, in Mozambique, have been restored.<\/p>\n

Maintenance work at the hydroelectric dam has been ongoing since last week, meaning that 1500MW had been lost during this time.<\/p>

“Customers are encouraged to continue to use electricity efficiently throughout the day at home and the office, and to encourage friends and family to do the same,” said Eskom in a Statement this morning.<\/p>\n

Eskom<\/a> will continue to provide regular updates on the state of the power system through various media platforms<\/p>\n
