Two wrestlers from the Elsburg Wrestling Club flew to Egypt on Sunday.
“We are happy to say that Jacques Kriel (16) and Cassey Lombaard (12) were among those selected to go to Egypt to compete in the Continental Championships,” said Tobbie Alberts, one of the main coaches at the club.
“This came after they were selected at the national trials in March.”
The competition commences on Wednesday and runs until Friday, May 29.
