Fun run yields great donation for Child Welfare

Successful fun run aids Germiston Child Welfare.

Winner Velile Ncube (right), from the Ekurhuleni School for the Deaf, was congratulated by Mark Gouveia from Southern Superspar.

Germiston Child Welfare was the beneficiary of the Germiston Callies Fun Run, on September 14.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Southern Superspar, all the proceeds of this year’s event were donated to the society.

Approximately 235 people participated in the run, which meant R7 050 could be donated.

Germiston Child Welfare thanked Germiston Callies for hosting the fun run on its behalf and a special word of thanks to Mark and Michael Gouveia from Southern Superspar for all their support to the Germiston community.
