How do you feel about saying goodbye to winter and hello to spring?
The GCN hit the streets of Primrose to find out what the residents think about the change of season.
It's time to blossom.
Isaac Tuse: “I am looking forward to spring as I normally get sick in winter and during the change in season. After spring comes summer and in summer I do not get sick.”
Annatjie Webb: “I cannot wait for spring as winter is too cold for me and in spring I get to put away my thick, heavy winter clothes and wear my light colourful blouses.”
Carel Marais: “I like spring. I can wear wear short clothing, it starts geting hotter and I can start swimming. I have more fun in spring and I can say goodbye to my sweat pants.”
Bonga Zwane: “I am happy as I am the summer type and I enjoy wearing my light clothing and I enjoy going to all the parties, festivals and braais that spring and summer time brings.”
Mahaballa Namane: “I hate spring because in winter I am able to get home early and socialise less as I prefer my own personal space. Spring for me means spending more money.”
Ali Gufran Hamddad: “I actually prefer winter. I enjoy wearing winter clothes. It is too hot for me in the summer so I try chasing winter as it reminds me of visiting my family back home.”
