The Life Roseacres Hospital recently welcomed Dr Soraya Patel to the fold and, as the only female general surgeon at the hospital, Patel is definitely a rarity.
“What is really exciting about surgery is that I feel that I am able to actually fix patients’ problems,” she explained when the GCN sat down with her recently.
