Officers from the Primrose Police Station and members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk hosted a crime awareness campaign, recently.

The campaign saw the team conducting two roadblocks in different parts of Primrose.

During the roadblocks youth desk members handed out safety pamphlets and sweets sponsored by Cartoon Candy, and interacted with motorists, educating them on the potential dangers that come with the Easter holidays.

“We appeal to the community to take the safety tips they received into consideration because the tips will help them,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

The management team of the Primrose Police Station thanked the youth desk for always striving to educate the community.

“Their dedication is an indication that police are not alone in their fight against crime,” said Maome.
