Elsburg police take to the streets: https://bit.ly/2h4goj6
In an effort to thwart criminal activities in the Elsburg policing district, the Elsburg SAPS and Incity Security conducted an operation together, recently. Setting off at 8am, the main objective of the day was to disrupt criminal activities in the area. The officers travelled in convoy with their sirens blaring through Elspark, Wadeville, Elsburg and Mimosa Park. Stop-and-search operations were conducted where suspicious people and motor vehicles were searched.

- Robbie Marx, “Sorry for being a little negative, but isn’t that their job? To be fair, I’ve dealt with Elsburg police on a number of occasions and they are very friendly and efficient, however, fighting crime is their job, I don’t get put into the newspaper for doing what I am supposed to do at work.”
- Odette Swanepoel, “Newspapers should also post more about the stuff that has been happening in Freeway Park. There has been an increase in the number of house robberies in the area. Criminals enter the homes with guns and take everything.” (Editor’s note: Freeway Park falls in Boksburg and not in Germiston).
