The metro wishes to inform residents and businesses that it is aware of the power supply interruption affecting Palm Ridge.
The power has been off since the early hours of this morning (August 3).
The interruption is due to a faulty transformer feeding power to the whole of Palm Ridge from Sefakabolea substation.
Ekurhuleni technicians are currently on site working on a second transformer in order to restore power supply to the affected area.
Power is expected to be restored by 4pm today.
The metro apologises for any inconvenience caused.
