Power grid remains stable

Three consecutive days without load shedding.

Eskom has not had to implement load shedding for three consecutive days.

The company announced this morning that the probability of load shedding being implemented today remains low.

Eskom, however, continues to urge customers to use electricity sparing specially during peak periods (5pm to 9pm).

The company remains confident that the power system is currently stable, and this will enable Eskom to perform maintenance without load shedding.
