No load shedding planned for today

Power grid remains fragile during peak periods.

Eskom is currently not implementing load shedding as it has adequate generating capacity to meet the demand in electricity.

The power system, however, is expected to be constrained during the evening peak period, 5pm to 9pm, mainly as a result of increased electricity demand.

The company continues to urge community members to use electricity sparingly.
