The company does, however, warn the grid will only be under severe strain between 6pm and 9pm this evening.
Meaning that load shedding may kick in during peak hours.
Last week, acting CEO Brain Molefe expalined that the company had lost about 6,000 megawatts due to planned and unplanned outages, which has resulted in load shedding being implemented
