The Primrose police recently arrested a 29-year-old man for a housebreaking that took place in November, 2014.
The man, who was accused of breaking into a Collins Road home, managed to evade arrest last year, when he climbed through the roof of his shack before officers could stop him.
The police were, however, able to trace him and he was arrested.
The man is one of seven men believed to be involved in the housebreaking.
All seven are now being held in the Boksburg Prison, without the option of bail.
They are due back in court in April.
