Afternoon showers to dominate the weekend

The South African Weather Service has predicted a wet weekend for Gauteng.

The service reported that the province can expect afternoon showers throughout the weekend.

The community is urged to take precautions when travelling in wet weather by reducing their speed, keeping their lights on and maintaining a safe following distance.

Vehicles and animals should also have appropriate shelter during this time.
