In a tweet sent out by Eskom today the company said, “The risk of load shedding for today has increased.
“Kindly assist in reducing the demand by switching off unnecessary electrical appliances.”
In a second tweet the company thanked people for heeding the call and for “turning off”.
Residents can visit Eskom’s website www.eskom.co.za to keep up-to-date with the power situation.
