Heavy rain still expected in Ekurhuleni

South African Weather Service warns of more heavy rain.

Heavy rain expected in the province.

Many residents were relieved to have a break from the endless rain that has dominated most of this week.

However, the South African Weather Service has warned that there is still a chance of heavy rain over the province.

Heavy rain (>50mm) is expected in parts of the province from 1am to 11pm today.

The community is urged to take precautions when travelling by reducing their speed, keeping their lights on and maintaining a safe following distance.

Vehicles and animals should also have appropriate shelter during this time.
