The Primrose police recently arrested and charged a 22-year-old man with housebreaking and theft, after a house in Serenade Street was broken into.
The owner reported the robbery when he arrived at his home and realised it had been broken into.
Upon further inspection the owner found his tools, an Ipad, a Canon camera and underwear missing.
Detectives from the Primrose Police Station followed several leads and were able to trace and arrest the accused.
He later appeared in the Germiston Magistrates Court, where his case was postponed for trial.
