The University of Johannesburg held a top achievers event for their best first year students, on Thursday.
Two of Afrikaanse Hoërskool Germiston’s former pupils, Luzelle Willemse and Jana-Mari Bloem, received awards for being among the best first year students in the faculty of education.
Only 342 of the almost 10 000 first year students were honoured.
The staff at the school are proud of Luzelle and Jana-Mari and congratulate them on behalf of the whole school and community.
