Woman smashes store’s window

Shop owner opens a case of malicious damage to property.

This 30-year-old woman, seen here with Sgt Styles Maome, was arrested by the Primrose police for malicious damage to property.

Primrose police recently arrested a 30-year-old woman, after it was discovered that she had smashed a Rietfontein Road shop’s window.

Police were first alerted to the incident by the store owner, who alleged that she had closed her shop on Friday evening, August 29, as she always does.

When she reopened the store the next day she realised that the front window had been smashed.

Upon further inspection she found that there was no entry into the shop.

An investigation was carried out, in which the accused was arrested.
