Wendy Morgan, secretary of the Primrose CPF, introduced the new patrollers to the community.
These patrollers are the latest addition to crime-fighting in the area.
The patrollers can be identified by the green overalls and Ekurhuleni badges they wear.
They will be working closely with the EMPD in identified smash-and-grab hot spots and will also assist with traffic control, by-laws and visibility of crime prevention organisations within the metro.
