Electricity has been restored to the parts of the Germiston CBD and surrounding areas which were affected by a power outage for most of the day.
Customers in the area are advised to contact the Ekurhuleni Municipal Services Call Centre (086 054 3000) if they are still without power so that their queries can be attended to individually.
The metro thanks residents and business owners for their patience while technicians were working on resolving the problem.
