This sewer manhole, with a missing cover, can be found in the middle of Nieman Road, in Buhle Park, in Ward 39.
Michael Kriek, the councillor for Ward 39 has reported this to the metro without success.
“All they did was to place a concrete base with cover on top of the hole.
“The cars must drive around it now, but some do not see it and crash into it.
“Somebody placed a piece of concrete with a red T-shirt over it, to attract more attention to the problem.
This is a very dangerous situation,” said Kriek.
