Following a homeowners report to the Primrose police, a 28-year-old man was arrested for theft.
The theft is alleged to have taken place in the Makause informal settlement, on Friday, July 18.
“The homeowner told officers he had returned from work to find his shack broken into,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.
“The items that were taken are three short bars, three line bars and one door frame.”
After following several leads, officers were able to trace the suspect and he was arrested.
