Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Aged celebrates Mandela Day in style.
Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Elderly held a special Mandela Day tea on Friday. The event was sponsored by Rappa Holdings, Pick n Pay Primrose and Spec-Savers Primrose Square. On Mandela Day, members of Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Aged visited the Primrose Police Station, to donate soup and bread to the members. Wendy Morgan, manager of Rest-a-While thanks Khumhold Suppliers and Leslie Powell for sponsoring the food.
Honorary member of Rest-a-While Joyce Ganter, who has been volunteering at the organisation for 21 years, cuts a cake for the elderly members during the Mandela Day tea, on Friday. Joyce will celebrate her 90th birthday in December.
